Dr. Isolde Hertess, is a dedicated expert in the field of plastic and reconstructive
surgery. With a profound commitment to her craft, she brings a wealth of experience and
proficiency to her practice. Graduating from Melbourne University Medical School after
obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree from the same esteemed institution (BSc), Dr.
Hertess has established herself as a respected professional in her field.
She went on to complete an extensive eight-year training journey across prestigious
hospitals across Melbourne, Adelaide, and Brisbane. Dr. Hertess earned the
distinguished title of a specialist member of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons
(RACS) in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Her journey led her to establish Cairns
Plastic Surgery, where she initially set up her practice.
In 2019, a new chapter unfolded as she transitioned her primary practice to the vibrant
Gold Coast. Currently based in Benowa, she operates her private practice, Dr. Hertess
Plastic Surgery in Benowa. Dr. Hertess specialises in a range of transformative breast
surgeries, including breast lift with implants, augmentation, reduction, and male
gynaecomastia surgery, often complemented by abdominoplasty procedures.
Dr. Hertess also possesses a delicate mastery in the realm of skin cancer medicine and
surgery. Holding an Australian Dermatology Diploma and pursuing a Masters in Medicine
(Skin Cancer), she skillfully administers anti-aging laser and injectable treatments for
various skin conditions.
Beyond her impressive professional journey, Dr. Hertess embraces the roles of a proud
mother of three and a devoted caregiver to her elderly mother. In her personal time, she
finds joy in cycling and maintains a compassionate and individualised approach in her
practice, fostering confidence and empowerment through open and effective
communication.
